What it takes to be a successful Real Estate Agent

If you're wondering you know, am I right for real estate? Would  I be a good realtor? There's a couple of things that I want to share with you.

Almost every realtor I know came from another career it's very rare to meet you know a realtor that was their first career a lot of us transitioned from other careers I know a lot of nurses that come into real estate a lot of teachers, firemen, police officers, servers, bartenders. I've seen all walks of life come into real estate so if you're considering becoming a realtor and are wondering would I  make a good realtor I think the question that you need to ask yourself is one, do you like people? That's absolutely important because this is a people business and most importantly it's a relationship business you know you're working with people with one of the biggest financial decisions of their life which can also be stressful.

So, do you have a mindset of service that to me is the ultimate question if a person is going to be a good realtor or not?  You can learn a lot of different things but it's hard to teach actually caring about people and at the end of the day the best realtors I know care about their clients and want to serve them to the highest capacity that they can. And, those are the people that I want across the table from me negotiating offers for our buyers and sellers.
